Vienna - Austria: 7:30pm A cultural event in cooperation with MUK for the occasion of the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Austria and Japan: "The Little Mermaid" - Music theatre by Yasuhiro Kasamatsu @ DAS OFF THEATER - WHITE BOX The first version of "The Little Mermaid" by H.C. Andersen was banned by the church for the reason that it was not suitable for Christianity. This music theater, "The Little Mermaid" ends quite differently from the story you know...it is my imagination of what Andersen actually wrote before the censorship 183 years ago.
