Gunma Opera Academy "Noura-Juku" - Spring 2018 information 2018-02-05

The next Noura-Juku will be held from the 1st to 5th May 2018. The theme for Spring is LIEDER.

· Technique and interpretation: Gerhard Kahry (former director of the vocal department of the University of Music and Performing Art in Vienna - MDW)
· German & Italian: Magdalena Renwart (dramatic soprano and language coach for German and Italian @ MUK, MDW in Vienna)
· Physical training and body language: Akiko Nakajima (professor @ MUK)
· Accompaniment: Masaaki Saito (lecturer @ Vienna Konservatorium)

Nakajima was appointed as a professor of the central artistic subject "Solo Singing" in the faculty of Performing Arts - "Voice and Opera" at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK). She will take up her position from September 2017.

"Vocal Masterclass 2017 with Akiko Nakajima" & cast auditions in Tokyo 2017-02-13

Masterclass & cast auditions for Nakajima’s productions will be held on 8th & 9th April 2017 in Tokyo.
