Appointed Artistic Director of Nonomori Hall, Ora Town2026-06-13

I am delighted to announce my appointment as Artistic Director of Nonomori Hall at the Ora Town Central Community Center in Gunma, Japan.

Alongside my international career as an opera singer and my work as Professor of Voice at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK), I have long been committed to nurturing young artists and promoting cultural exchange between Japan and Europe.

Through the activities of the Noura Opera Foundation, I have enjoyed a close and fruitful relationship with Ora Town for many years. It is, therefore, a great honour to be entrusted with the artistic leadership of this remarkable venue.

Drawing on my international experience and professional network, I hope to further develop Nonomori Hall as a centre for artistic excellence, education, and cultural exchange. My vision is to create opportunities for emerging artists, bring distinguished performers from Japan and abroad to the region, and foster meaningful connections through music and the performing arts.

I look forward to this exciting new chapter and to working together with the people of Ora Town to enrich its cultural future.
